MEPI recognizes that investing in our alumni is one of our most accessible ways to promote civic engagement in the region. It also recognizes that engagements vary by country and the size of the MEPI Alumni body and associations.

MEPI provides tailored programs including training and technical assistance to alumni and MEPI Alumni Associations and will include MEPI alumni from our exchange programs, Washington DC-managed grants and MEPI Local Grant recipients.

Training topics include public speaking, financial management, and advocacy and professional development skills. In addition, in coordination with Embassies throughout the region and other stakeholders, we provide specialized technical assistance to the MEPI alumni organization that are tailored to identified gaps with a focus on developing their strategic and sustainability plans.
