In April 2017 the CBACAP program assisted the Beja Chamber of Commerce with the organization of the second edition of the “Tuniso-Algerian Business meetings” under the theme ‘Tuniso-Algerian partnership- A lever for common economic development’. Over 110 business community members participated in the event, which was held at the Dar Ismail hotel in Tabarka from April 25th to 27th 2017. Participants included the Algerian Chambers of Commerce and both Tunisian and Algerian exporting companies. The rich networking opportunities throughout the event resulted in 237 business meetings. The Beja Chamber developed an export guide emphasizing the features and the potential of the region, including a database of exporting companies across sectors.
